WEST GATE DISTRIBUTOR

The information update in the links contains important information regarding the upcoming closure of Shepherd Bridge while we install a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge.  Shepherd Bridge will be closed from 8pm Friday 23 June to 6am Monday 26 June (subject to weather). Detours will be in place for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists as shown in the accompanying maps.  Please note that the detour for pedestrians and cyclists will be in place from 4am Friday 23 June to 6am Monday 3 July.

The closure includes detours for Over Height (below 5 metres only) and High Productivity Freight Vehicles (HPFV).  Detours will be provided via the West Gate Freeway as shown on the accompanying map.  Additional detours will be in place as referenced in the information update, along with additional works during and following the closure. Some Over Height and HPFV traveling under permit within Victoria may need to amend their permit to use the proposed detours. Should you require a permit to travel, please contact VicRoads on 9915 8661 as a priority.
